Pope is not the Leader of the Christians

It is being published nowadays in Nepal through the media that the Pope is the leader of the Christians. But it is not true. He is the leader of Roman Catholic Church only not of the Christians as a whole. In the world there are Biblical Churches and Protestant Churches in majority who do not have anything to do with him. They do not regard him as their leader. They even deny the hierchy system of Roman Catholic Church. They do not believe the Pope as the vicar of Christ as the Roman Chatholic Church does. So it is very clear that the Pope is the leader of Roman Catholic Church not of the Christians. So the media of Nepal should call the Pope as the leader of Roman Catholics not of the Christians to honor the sentiment of Christians in Nepal.

Situations cannot Remain the Same

The Lord blessed us so much in our trip to Aphardanda, Birkot, Palpa the previous week where I was severely persecuted about 15 years ago. We were almost killed by the villagers who got together by night. That night I fled from that village with my brother Nir Bahadur Ghimire from Aphardanda to Aryabhanjyang. We walked about 5 hours from 1 a. m. to 6 a. m. that night. It was a frightening night. On that day I had baptized 5 people in the village. As a reaction of the baptism the villagers rose against us.

Today the situations are different there. All the young girls went to the jungles and brought the firewoods for the Christian marriage there in the church situated right in the middle of the village. And whole villagers worked for cooking and for various responsibilities though most of them are not Christians yet. There in the village Mahanaim church is standing for the gospel truth since one and half decades continually. Mr.Dhan Bahadur Thapa of Butwal married Danu Maya Thada this time. There was a marriage procession where almost whole villagers were involved. The Lord in is control for all the situations. He is the Lord of all. Amen.

एवेनेजर बाइबल स्कुल २००८ को वार्षिक परीक्षाफल प्रकाशित गरिएको छ। जस अनुसार उच्च मा. वि. तह उतिर्ण गरी ‘प्रोफिसियन्सी सर्टिफिकेट इन बिब्लिकल स्टडिज’ डिग्री हाँसिल गर्न १४ जना विद्यार्थीहरु सफल भएका छन्। जस अनुसार यूनिया गुरुङ, अंजना परियार र याकुव तामाङ प्रथम, द्वितीय र तृतीय भए भने सोनी गुरुङ, सुनिता श्रेष्ठ, ईश्वरी थापा, मूना गुरुङ, सरिता कार्की,, तविता तामाङ, पावल अधिकारी, लिडिया थापा, शान्ति राई, केशरी श्रेष्ठ र हनोक सुनुवार उतिर्ण भएका छन्। नीजहरुले यस वर्षको अध्ययन सफलता पूर्वक पूरा गरेकोमा नीजहरुको जीवनमा परमेश्वरको महिमा हुने अपेक्षा राखिएको छ। त्यसरी नै अन्य तहहरुका विद्यार्थीहरुले पनि अध्ययनलाई सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरेका छन्। एवेनेजरमा शिशू, प्रारम्भिक, प्राथामिक, निम्न माध्यमिक, माध्यमिक र उच्च माध्यमिक गरी छ तहहरुका विद्यार्थीहरुलाई प्रत्येक शनिवार विभिन्न विषयहरुमा अध्यापन गराइन्छ। यस स्कुलमा बाइबल र बाईबलसंग सम्बन्धित विविध विषयहरुमा अध्यापन गराइनुका साथै अध्ययनमा बाइबल पठन, बाईबल पद कण्ठस्थ जस्ता विषयहरु पनि समावेश गराइको छ।

Ebenezer Updates

The Lord had made possible to get all the leaders of fellowship churches of Ebenezer together for the bible studies and the fellowships together on February. We had four days fellowship together. It was a tremendous time for the fellowship. Leaders with their wives got together in Ebenezer Building in Kathmandu. They were all encouraged to serve the Lord continually leading the flocks on the way our God want. Photos are displayed in our gallery in the web. Pary for these leaders who are serving the Lord in different parts of Nepal having their own businesses for their family needs. Most of them are not full time ministers.

In Kathamandu valley there two other places where Ebenezer church is having new ministries, they are Jorpati and Thankot. The Ebenezer members of those places get together in those fellowships for the worship services but all all of them get together at Ebenezer on every first week of the month for the Lord supper and the worship services. Pray for those ministries in Kathmandu valley.

Ebenezer needs to extend it's hall for the worship services. It has a land attached to the eastern part of the building. We need more rooms for the Sunday School (Ebenezer Bible School)classes. We would like to build story building on the said land one for the extension of the hall and other for the Sunday School classes. Pray for the needs of Ebenzer. May God bless you.
